Become a Social Equity Partner

The Color of Cannabis welcomes industry partnerships for financial and technical assistance to advance social equity in the cannabis industry. The Color of Cannabis is launching a co-working space in Denver's Historic Five Points community, Welton Work Space. It offers flexible memberships with lounge space, desk space, event space, patio space, private space, and conference space. Welton Workspace is designed to grow business by connecting businesses and communities. With an emphasis on community, the Color of Cannabis provides members with an affordable and desirable space to work, develop their business, build networks, and find new ways to engage in new and existing markets. Welton Workspace will serve as a form for intellectual and cultural discovery for diversity and equity opportunities in the cannabis industry. The Color of Cannabis will provide technical training, professional development, and a comprehensive launch curriculum for start-ups. From curated panels and distinguished guest speakers to cross-industry professional networking events, it will help create opportunities for personal and professional growth for people of color looking to participate in the cannabis industry.


Investment

The Color of Cannabis offers different levels of capital contribution to our partners. In the amounts of 10k, 20k, 30k, and 50k

A. Corporate Partners pledge staff, particularly Directors, to assist Color of Cannabis Denver in its educational efforts for those seeking ownership in the cannabis industry. They work with Color of Cannabis Denver to identify in-house Directors with expertise in the curriculum outlined above. They will schedule time to teach courses and provide consulting/mentorship to members of The Color of Cannabis.

 

B. Corporate Partners will also work with The Color of Cannabis’s program to provide training and mentorship to people of color seeking employment in the cannabis industry. They will work with The Color of Cannabis Denver to identify careers in the cannabis industry and to recruit applicants from minority communities.

 

C. Corporate Partners will allow Color of Cannabis access to utilize there in-house marketing resources to raise awareness for the program and to attract additional volunteers. Resources could include assistance with graphic/creative design, as well as social media promotion.

 

D. Corporate Partners will offer staff to volunteer for The Color of Cannabis events and fundraisers. The Color of Cannabis will provide direction on when and how volunteers could be utilized.

 

E. Finally, if deemed beneficial to The Color of Cannabis, we would ask that an employee be designated to join our advisory board in an effort to help advise operations.
